About | Hey, my name is Beth! I’m a 23-year-old creative from South / West London. I am so excited to be part of the Inside Stylist family, and I can’t wait to meet some new faces and develop my skills as an Assistant Interior Stylist. I have been working as a freelance Assistant Interior Stylist for just over 2 years. I’ve always loved the arts, including theatre and film, and enjoy getting stuck into every creative opportunity that comes my way. I studied both Fine Art and Fashion & Textiles at a-level, and took on extracurricular Life Drawing and Photography classes in my spare time. From the age of 16 I have loved putting together my own shoots and started interning for stylists when I was on my Art & Design Foundation year in 2018. I also take time to peruse creative hobbies such as painting, knitting, digital illustration and making clay plant pots. In 2021, I was lucky enough to get my first Assistant Stylist job, assisting the brilliant Susie Clegg, who kickstarted my love for Interior Styling. I have worked with Susie on several jobs, on both big and small scales, for clients such as John Lewis, M&S and Dobbies Garden Centre. In 2022, I was lucky enough to be invited to assist the wonderful Dily Orme for the summer, where I worked with clients such as MyWeekly and Velux, alongside private clients. I have also spent time working as an Assistant Fashion Stylist, for Stylists such as, Anna Trevelyan, Bridie Gilbert, and Rachael Perry. These have been such amazing opportunities so early on in my career and I feel like I have already learnt so much and developed many of the skills listed below. Please feel free to get in touch if there are any upcoming projects I could be of assistance on. Skills: – Eye for detail – Prop and furniture sourcing and shopping – Mood-boards and layout design – Image sourcing and research – Discretion – Organisation and on set tidiness – Foliage, Plant, and Flower arranging and styling – Food styling – Sewing (hand and machine) – Driving licence – Developed and fast computer skills o Adobe Applications (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) o Digital illustration using ProCreate o Office Outlook (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) o Google Workspace: Docs, Slides & Sheets
