Alicia Barry

Hello!

I’m Alicia, an interior stylist-hopeful, California-transplant, now based in Manchester. Admittedly, I am fresh to the industry so am presently (and eagerly!) available for all work experience opportunities. My schedule offers great flexibility and am happy and willing to travel.  I am prepared and excited to assist in any way and learn as much as possible. I thrive on organization (seriously, I love to organize any/everything), attention to detail and efficiency. I don’t need much direction or oversight to ensure a task gets completed.

My love of styling truly started from creating tablescapes at family parties and holiday celebrations. What started as Pinterest scrolling and moodboard drafting soon became more thoughtful planning and strategic styling in my home and for family and friends.

I have completed Lucy Gough’s and Inside Stylist’s Interior Stylist courses and currently in the process of completing HAS’s Home Staging Fundamentals course as well.

I am originally from Southern California, brought here for my husband’s work. Yes, we do love it here! The move has allowed me the rare chance to seize the opportunity, and take the, albeit scary, leap and transition from the corporate world to a more meaningful and creative career. Outside of styling, I enjoy volunteering with cats at a local shelter, studying Italian (ciao!), and cuddling my ginger cat, Mac, who is my real true love.
