Habitat Spring Summer 2025 Press Launch. The trends, the colours the nostalgia!
I’m not going to lie, being a child of the 70’s made this particular press show a blast from my past. Not only are the three new looks for Habitat’s Spring Summer 2025 retro they’re bang on trend for 2025. How do that do that? They’re genius designers that’s how. Wanna see? Of course you do. Here you go.
The Habitat Spring Summer 2025 Looks
Modest Luxury
As Habitat put it – this look is for “Elevating the everyday” and it really does. Not a colour pallette you would expect to see from Habitat but the look, feel and gestures are totally on brand.
Think a touch of minimalism with sophisticated materials like layered dark woods, marbled ceramics and tactile faux leather. All sleek and modern.
We’ve seen touches of nature and natural patterns coming through for a while and the simplicity of these designs just elevates their elegance. Table settings with a marbled look are fun, mango wood tables with ribbed detailing, bedding that is too beautiful not to stroke. You know the feel.
Nordic Botanist
The Nordic Botanist look is a fresh take on Scandinavian simplicity. Designed by the in-house team at Habitat with oversized botanical prints, and chunky stripes in beautiful deep colours balanced with scalloped edges. It’s a perfect blend of understated Scandi cool with a burst of botanical energy. I don’t know about you but I can’t get enough of stripes – especially when they’re teamed with florals! Check out the video!
Marvelous Memphis
This is what Habitat does best—bold, playful design with sculptural shapes that make a statement. Their DNA has always been about pushing boundaries, and this latest collection is no exception.
Taking inspiration from Memphis Milano, the influential design movement that shook up the early 1980s (I remember it well!), the collection embraces clashing colours, geometric forms, and a sense of pure fun.
Expect chunky corduroy, powder-coated metals, terrazzo, and hand-blown glass—materials that bring texture and personality in
Outdoors
I can’t leave this post without mentioning the garden furniture and accessories on display at the press show. They REALLY make you want the warmer months to hurry up and get here already. Fluted glass table, powder-coated furniture that looks really comfy, parasols that look like my seven year old school holidays and an outdoor standing lamp. I mean come on sunshine. We are ready!
